Klose to win Golden shoe
Germany´s forward Miroslav Klose won the Golden shoe for the best scorer. He scored 5 goals as in 2002 as well two clear than another 8 players that each scored 3 goals. This amount is the lowest by the tournament’s leading scorer since the 1962 World Cup in Chile, when six players scored four times. Ok, don´t blame “Miro” he did what he could. It was nice seeing him teach Lukas Podolski how to get stuff done. Thanks you guys for a great Tournament.
The eight players who scored three goals were Hernan Crespo (Argentina), Fernando Torres (Spain), Thierry Henry (France), Maxi Rodriguez (Argentina), Lukas Podolski (Germany), Ronaldo (Brazil), David Villa (Spain) and Zinedine Zidane (France).
