Are you kidding Italy?
Ok, if I should name one team that has not earned its place among the last 4 teams in the World Cup I´d definitely say Italy. Not only has the “Azzuri” not shown the shining football of the pre World Cup phase - no! Now they´re hunting down Torsten Frings who might have hit an Argentinian player after being attacked himself. What would you be doing if some crazy freak hits you in the face? That´s just perfidious. So please back off or are we questioning any of Italy´s players that might or might not be involved in the Italian scandal? So stay calm and try to play decent football, thanks.

[…] But what makes me even more disappointed is how the Italian press and some other officials reacted on this. Shame on you. I hope we can make up for that tomorrow and send the Azzuri back home where they´re supposed to be. I´m sorry but this made me angry. I´m someone who still believes that this is all about not football. Cheers. […]
You’re joking right? I mean about deserving their spot–France played like crap until they faced Brazil, Portugal has been OK, and Germany has exceeded expectations but played mostly minnows (Argentina aside). Melodrama seems to follow the Italians around like a shadow and their press is often disgusting, but they’ve certainly earned their spot (no one has scored on them but themselves, they played a man down, they’ve overcome injuries, etc., etc.). Yes, they’re not always pretty to watch, but football is not dance.
I´m not kidding. They only survived the round of the last 16 only because of an unjustified penalty shot. Portugal has been ok I agree. Argentina was the best so far but Germany won. France won over Brazil which is the defending champion and Italy? They played teams like Ukraine and Australia..good job. I´m just angry that such methods are used that´s all.
