What do you think of this World Cup goal?
A couple of days back we´ve crowned the best World Cup goal ever here at World Cup News Blog. We´ve seen Maradona scoring, without a doubt a wonderful goal, the most wonderful one in World Cup history as far as I´m concerned. The BBC seems to be thinking quite different.
In a report today the BBC reports of Carlos Alberto´s goal against Italy in Brazil´s 1970´s final against Italy. It´s called the best goal ever over there. Take a look.
I don´t think it is for two main reasons. For one it was an ownage game back then Italy never had a chance in this final. And my other reason would be that is was only a simple shot a few passes before ok, but the best World Cup goal ever? Never! But it is interesting how slow football was back then. Look at the Italian defenders they´re just walking by. Crazy.
