Maybe the best goal the World Cup has ever seen
Tonight I was watching a documentary on Eurosport covering the World Cup of 1986 especially Argentina´s way to the trophy. Jorge Valdano was interviewed and he was commenting on the quarter-final against England. This match has seen 2 wonderful goals of young man named Maradona. The second one is in my opinion the best score the World Cup has ever seen. Take a glance at this my fellow soccer-addicts.
After the match Maradona told Valdano that he was waiting for a moment to pass to him during his 75m dribbling but everytime he was intending to and english defender was in the way. Thank god, otherwise we might not have seen this wonderful piece of soccer history.

He’s still a cheat
That would be the other goal
steve, he’s not a cheat — he’s a *tease*, lol
I was watching that game with an English friend of mine. He was steamed about the other “goal,” but agreed that this was one of the greatest World Cup goals ever.
I can understand arguing about the first goal but the second one was a godsend. I really like Gary Linekers comment on the second goal:
So true.
[…] Yesterday I told you about probably the best goal the World Cup has ever seen. If you´re anything like myself you enjoy watching beautiful goals over and over again. So here we go. Join me watching 18 year-old Michael Owen scoring a wonderful goal against Argentina in France 1998. […]
